"PAOLO AND FRANCESCA."
Miss Hardpge-Maltby will present the four-act poetic drama, "Paolo and Francesca," by Stephen Phillips, at the Concert' Chamber, for three nights, commencing. Tuesday, 23rd August. "Paolo and Francesca" is the romantic story of ancient Italy, made famous by Dante. When presented in London about two years ago, Sir George Alexander and Martin Harvey played the brothers, whose love the innocent Francesca turned to jealous hatred. The, box plans for the season will be opened to-morrow at the Bristol.
