UndeT the direction of Mr. Tempi* White, the Choral Union will perfortnl "Judas Maccabaeus" in the Town Hall on Saturday, 27th, with a chorus orchestra of 300. This work of Handel's ia wonderfully rich in choral numbers; an attribute that is welcome, for the* union- has a good choir as. a rule. Missi Rosa Alba, of Sydney, has been specially engaged to sing the soprano . role.. Miss' Phyllis Massey will sing the contralto part, while the tenor and bas^ solos will be undertaken by Messrs.
