The Ladies' Committee of the Self-De-termination for Ireland League are organising a concert at the Town Hall on Tuesday, 23rd August, for the purpose of raising funds to help the distress in Ireland. Appeals for assistance have been sent to all parts of the world, and the ladies' committee is determined to do all it can to assist. The very best talent procurable has been obtained. It includes such noted artists as Misses Taresa M'Enroe and Mabelle Equilant, who will not only sing solos but also give concerted items. Mrs. T. Bourke, 115, Hamilton-road, is hon. secretary, and tickets may be obtained from her or the Bristol Piano Company, and the Catholic Supplies Shop, 67, Mannerß-street. Not only will those who patronise the concert enjoy an excellent programme, bnt they will also be assisting a most charitable object.
