SHORTT'S THEATRE.
, "The Flame of the Desert," in which GeraJdine Farrar takes, the leading part, is being shown > for the first time at Shorfct's Theatre to-day. In this film ' there ia a harmonious blending of acting,of the highest order, with, a motion picture, thorough in its wealth of detail and its beautiful reproduction of scenes of sensuous charm, marks a standard of excellence hitherto unsurpassed. Included in the cast is Lou Telegen, who acts the part of . the . desert sheik. The story is an admirably constructed one, and none of its-varied and sensational incidents oversteps the bounds of the probable. '
