PARAMOUNT AND ARTCRAFT.
Ma* Murray is back in her ever-popu-lar role of a dancer in her latest Paramount Royalty picture, "The Gilded Lily}" which -will be presented for the first time at the' Paramount and Artcraft Theatres, commencing to-day. In many ways "The Gilded Lily" recalls Miss Murray's Sonia in "On with the Dance," one -of the big- pictures last year. In ncr newest picture she is Lilian Drake, hostess of a popular private club in New York, a real Salamander. . All Lilian longs for is to leave her old Hie and be married, and her struggle, until she achieves her amb.ition :s intensely interesting. Matt Moor© plays the loading man's role in "Straight is the Way," the seven-reel supporting feature. He is seen as a crook who is reformed through love. Gladys Leslie is the girl in the story.
