They propose a frontier following generally the line suggested by Count Sforza, but giving Zabrze to Germany, and Bcuthen to Poland, whereas France is trying to secure Zabrze for Poland. Great Britain wants Germany to have Benthen. PARIS, 10th August. The Supreme Council is progressing so satisfactorily that it is expected to conclude on Saturday, though the experts late to-night had not reached • com promise on the solution with regard to Upper Silesia. BERLIN, 10th August. Most of the newspapers feature Mr. Lloyd George's speech as representing Britain's complete support of - the indivisibility of Upper Silesia. The Frankfurter Zeiiung alone prepares its readers for a compromise agreement.
