FIRE AT RONGOTEA
(II mBORAPB.—SPECIAL TO THB POST.) PALMERSTON N., 11th August. A fire;at Rongotea last night totally destroyed a seven-roomed house owned and occupied by Mr. Arthur Beckman. About 7 o'clock the members of the family were milking, ancl on hearing a noise they hurried to the house and found it in flames. Practically nothing was saved from the dwelling. The building was insured for £400, and was valued at £750, while the furniture, valued at £200, was Hot insured.
