"THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS."
"The Last of the Mohicans" is to be screened at the King's Theatre to-mor-row. All the ability and knowledge of Maurice. TouTneau have gone into this production. As the most representative of James Fenimore Cooper's Leather Stocking tales, it should take its place among the standard film productions that eerve to hand on the fame of a master of literature, and. to preserve th,e manners and. customs of a country at one of the most romantic perils of its history. The James Fenimore Cooper classic does not depend upoD its historical setting for its chief claim to the attention of amwement seekers. Ite story reflects with truth the adventurous life lod in 1757 by the settlers along the Hudson Bay River. / The locations are of great beauty, and' the cast has been admirably chosen. The scenario \preserves the essential points of the story.
