The death of Edward Simpson, cj 67, Elizabeth-street, was investigated by Mr. F.- K. Hunt, S.M., 1 to-day. Simpson was found dead on' 1 the reclamation near the destructor on 30th July. The evidence showed that deceased had been out of work for some time, but his wife said he had ' no"• financial worries, as she had sufficient money to keep the home going. Mi\ Hunt found that Simpson's death was due to an irritant poison, in all probability selfadministered. The Wellington Girls' and Boys' Colleges andi the State schools ■of Wellington are to dpso for the second) term) i holiday, or* l&th August.
