BLENHEIM, This Day. pick Arnst this morning deposited £25 with Mr. R. P Furnesa, proprietor of the Marlborough Express; covering Hadfield's deposit for the world's scullfng championship, to be rowed either on the Wanganui River or on the Wairau. The champion prefers the Wairau, but nothing has been definitely fixed. Arnst starts training immediately hero for the contest, which will take place about three months' hence. . . . . .
