After a vigourous press campaign against ibhe ■ Government's decision to sell iby auction Runnymede meadows, where King John's Barons c-amped prior to the signature of Magha' Chart'a, Sir Arthur Boscawen (Secretary to the Miii-ISler-of ifgriculture), replying to'ia question in the House of Commons, announced that he was taking Action to prevent the sale.
