FOR THE SOLDIERS
TEN MILLION LOAN TO BE RAISED j IN NEW SOUTH WALES.

Th» campaign to raise, locally a loan of ten millions at 6 per cent, to fulfil financial promises made to returned soldiers his been successfully launched. ■ [The loan prospectus fixes the price ofissue at £96, and the rate of interest at 6 per cent.. and provides 'for repayment in 1930. ' It stipulates that the moneys' will be used for the payment of war obligations and for repatriation purposes only. -The quotas for the various' States Have been fixed as follow:—New South Walea, £3,700,000? Victoria, £3,300,000; Queensland, £1,200,000; South Australia, £1,000,000; Western Australia, £400,000; Tasmania, £400,000. The quotas have been fixed on the same proportion us the quotas for the last loan. On that occasion every State except South Aus^ tralia subscribed more than the full amount allotted.]
