'MOTOR CAR.FATALITY.
.A motor car fatality occurred in Moles, worth-street at about_ 7.35 o'clock last evening. tho # victim being a boy named Benjamin Victor Bevan, 12 years,of ago, Bon of Benjamin Bevan, of Guthrie-sfcreet, Thorndon. It is stated that tho boy, while playing- with some companions, suddenly ran out on to the road and Was knocked down by a car driven by Ainsley Bertram Power, a motor mechanic, residing in Rintoul-street. > The motor ear was proceeding from town, and at the. time "(there was a tramcar just ahead of • it. The boy was picked up immediately, and taken to a garage near by. Medioal aid was summoned, but the boy died about 15 minutes later.
