BRITISH DELEGATES TO ASSEMBLY.

Mr. Austen Chamberlain indicated in the House of Commons that Sir James Jtodd, late Ambassador to Rome, would be the British delegate on the League of Nations Assembly. Lord Robert Cecil questioned whether it was satisfactory that" the British delegates tto the League of Nations should belong purely to the official class. He declared the Government's action show--ed a profound contempt for J,he League. . The Speaker condemned Lord Robert Cecil's remarks
