SUDDEN DEATH IN HOUSE OF COMMONS

Wintringham (Independent Liberal member for Louth) died suddenly while sitting in the House of Commons reading-room.. The' House immediately adjourned. Mr. Wintringham complained that he felt unwell when he arrived at tho House, but attended a party meeting, and put a couple of questions in Uio Chamber. At ,8 o'clock ho ordered a meal, which he was waiting for when he collapsed. Medical members of Parlia: nient tried heart massage, unavailingly. The deceased was a timber merchant and agriculturist.
