THE KING'S THEATRE.
[ "Mid-Channel," the new feature at the King's Theatre, U a picture version of Sir A. W. Pinero's stage success. This play is remarkable, on account of its insight into the foibles of human nature. A fine poi-trayal is given by Clara Kimball Young "as Zoe Blundell. The vocalist is Mr; Leigh Dew, who is well known to Wellington audiences. The King's Grand Orchestra also contributes towards the programme. "THE LAST 01" THE MOHICANS." "The Last of the Mohicans" is a story too well known to need repetition, but the love taJe,^ with the humour an-d, pathos and exciting; moments, is intensely human, intensely leal. All the ability and knowledge of Maurice Tourneur have gone into this production. An alllead cast appears in the story. The scenic .backgrounds are said to be exquisite in their rugged beauty. Once more has Maurice Tourneur gone back to the classics of childhood. . This time, as director, he has, we believe, giver, the screen a masterpiece in "The Last of the Mohicans," which comes to th« King's Theatre on Friday.
