BOXING

There appears little doubt but what the Town Hall will be well patronised on j Monday next, on the occasion of tho boxing contest arranged between Dwyer and Williams. Both the principal contestants are recognised in Australia as in the first flight of lightweights. What should prove excollent preliminaries have been arranged as follow:—Pearco v. M'JKenzie, Rusterholtz v. M'Morran, Porter v. M'Arly. M'Kenzie is a pupil of Dwyer's. The box plan will remain open until Monday afternoon, and tickets for day sales may bo obtained at Howe and Sowman's and Ned Perry's. The Wakefield-street entrance to the Town Hall will be the only means of admission on this occasion. Mr. Earl Stewart will referee.
