POWER FROM THE SEA
TO IHI EDITOR., Sir, —In yesterday's Post, Signor Concetti, an engineer, claims to have solved the principle 'of using wave force> for •motor and other power. I do not know on what principle Signor Concetti has worked, but some time-' since, in studying the waves at Houghton Bay, 1 conceived how the power of the waves could be used, for a similar purpose to that advocated by Signor Concetti. Of course the harnessing of the tides is quito a different thing to the action of wave power, and it will be interesting to team if Signor Concetti has come to the same conclusion that I have in the case of wave power.— 1 am, etc' ■' J. G. W. DALRYMPLE. 9th August. .
