A game between teams" representing the.city primary schools was played yesterdsy on the Lyall Bay Reserve. The following players have been selected to play in a further trial game on Wednesday, when the city boys will be. "tried out" against a team from the Hutf Valley i-A-Backs: Barrett, Richards, Turley, FoFdham, Cookson, '"Mahoney, O'Donnell; forwards: Harris (wing), Simmonds, M'Lepd, De Sousa, Best, Hembrow, Callaghan, Welch; emergencies: Milne (back), Nicholl, Duff, Paternoster, Paul (forwards). The game, ■ which will commence at 3 p.m. sharp, will be played on the Kilbirnie Reseive unless rain intervenes to make the.ground too v et. "In that event the game will be played on the Lyall Bay ground. The town team will play in black and blue jerseys. ' ,
