For the resumption of the AustraliaWarwickshire match the weather was unsettled, and the wicket soft owing, to the heavy rain on Sunday. The start was delayed half an hour.

Warwickshire's remaining four wdclcets fell cheaply,, the innings closing far 153. The not-out men, Smart and Partridge, faced Gregory and Armstrong. Four, runs were added, and then Oldfield snapped up Partridge at the wicket off Gregory. The century took two hours' play. y
