CALEDONIAN SOCIETY
The membership of the Caledonian Society, as .disclosed at the last, meeting, is growing- steadily. Mr. D. Clark (chieftain.) presided at tlie meeting, and welcomed Mr. J. Windsor sir a. member, of the directorate. .A valuable leather bonnet, pr&sented to the .society by a relative of the Into Colour-Sergeant, Airlcen, who foujrlit through the Indian Mutiny, was received. Th<» bonnet, wifh its historic associations, was gre»tly admired, and the secretary was instructed to forward a suit-, able letter of thanks to the donor. The convener of the recent Scottish Fair (Mr. J. Cusack) reported that there was a satisfactory credit balance. A motion was carried for the immediate; reorganisation of the yoiuijT da.ncors' section.of the society. Mr. J- M'Chus was appointed honorary aiuaioil director^
