THE KING'S THEATRE.
"Mid-Channel," the new feature at the King's Theatre, is a picture version of Sir A. W Pinero's stage success. This play its 'stated to be remarkable on account of its extraordinary insight into the foibles of human nature, and the picture is remarkable because of the appealing portrayal given by Clara Kimball Young as Zoe Blundell. The vocalist is Sir. Leigh Dew, who is well known to Wellington audiences. The King's Grand Orchestra also contributes towards the programme. On Friday next a ffreat attraction will be afforded pic ture-lovers at the King's Theatre, when " The Last of the Mohicans," adapted from the well-known novel of the same name by Fennimore Cooper, will be shown. It is full of interest, and at times intense excitement.,- A fine cast will interpret the story. The photography is of the best.
