ST. MARY'S BAZAAR.

Business was brisk at St. Mary's Bazaar in the Town Hall last night, and consequently the many earnest and zealous assistants in a good cause wore happy and contented smiles. A. great effort is being made by the stallholders, their able assistants,, and all associated with the bazaar to realise the amount the promoters had in view. Given favourable weather if or the next few days there is every prospect of success. Last evening the Pierrots were responsible for a very bright and catchy entertainment, which delighted • the audience. Eraund's Elite Orchestra,played, a number of excellent selections, adding considerably to the enjoyment of those present. To-night the pupils of Mr. Joe Knowsley iwill give another of their delightful dancing displays. Included" in the programme is a Hawaiian ballet by the pupils of the school, with Miss Evelyn Wright as soloist, and- Misses Thyra Williams, Joy Weston, and little Betty Hoare singing the huanting melody, "Hawaii, I'm Lonesome for You."

The bazaar opens every evening at 7.30, and concludes on Saturday night.

An organ recital by Mr. Maughan Barnett, City Organist of Auckland, vnjl be given at the St. James's Presbyterian Church, Adelaidfl-road, to-morrow evening, at'.B o'clock. |There will be a special collection in aid of the organ fund.
