BILLIARDS
The inter-club billiards tourney was continued in the showrooms of Billiards, Ltd.. last evening. Harrison (Post and Telegraph Club) met and defeated Sim (Federal Club), last year's champion, who did not settle down to his usual game. Harrison gave a good all-round display, and ran out to 300' when his opponent was 124. The best breaks were:- Harrison, 20, 22, 29, 36, ,48; Sim,. 27. The second game was between Spencer (Federal Club) and Tyrrell (Post and Telegraph Club). Both contestants were off their usual game, except that Spencer managed to make a good break of 46. The game finished. Spencer K 3CO; Tyrrell. 231. The best brealfs were: Spencer "46, 27; Tyrrell, 24, ■ 21, 20. Tonight Tucker {Federal Club) plays Devine (Pefcoue Working Men's Club), 'and Tapp (Wellington Working Men's Club) plays , Harrison (Post and> Telegraph Club).
