LEAGUE FOOTBALL
MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETS
The Management Committee of the Wellington Rugby League met last evening, Mr. F. C. Evans presiding. There were also present Messrs. H. Croghen, M. Burke, E. Cooper, C. Snow, H. Cranston, and the secretary (C. Murphy).
The' Canterbury League notified, that itcould not play Wellington on 13th August.
T.t was decided'to inform the Hawkes Bay League that 20th August was not a suitable date j for the junior representative game. ■
A motion was carried expressing thanks to the managers of the Australian team for the exhibition game played last week. Tho result of the gate was £52 19s.
