DUNEDIN DEBENTURE LOAN
POPULAR WITH INVESTORS.

DUNEDIN, Bth August.
The Dunedin City Council's debenture loan of £100,000 is proving popular with investors. The amount taken up last week was in the vicinity of £40,00 Q. As regards the response which has been made to the request that rates should be paid early, the city treasurer states that the amount is about double that received by this date last year. Up to the present about £23,000 fists been paid in.
