DELHI, 7th August.
An open and sensational confession was made by one of the accused' in a trial at Lahore in connection with the massacre of over a hundred Sikhs at a shrine named , Nankana Sahib last February. " The accused described how at the Mahant, or guardian shrine, some of his followers collected between four and five' hundred good fighters; includ ing Papuans, made complete arrange ments, and killed the Sikhs on the 20th February. When they came to the shrine the. Sikhs were killed by gunshots, bricks,' and axes, and afterwards all were burned except four.
