RAILWAY SMASH
ON LONDON-YORK LINE FOURTEEN PASSENGERS INJURED. (BNITSD ritBSS ASSOCIATION.—C9PIRISHI.) (AUSTRALIAN ■ NSW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, 6th August. Thei York-London express crashed into a holiday train (bound for Leeds from, Bridljngton) while the latter was pulling out of Selby station this afternoon. The express cut through the first coach of the Bridling ton train, the engine of which fell on a signal cabin, wrecking it. Two coach m were derailed-, Three Bignalmen jumped from the cabin when they saw the express appioaching.^Tfoo express kept on the rails. Both trains were crowded. Fourteen passengeKj of the Bridlington train were injured.
