LODGE MEETINGS
STAR OF WELLINGTON LODGE No. 12.
The above lodge held its usual meeting on 'Thursday evening. The attendance was fair. Two officers were reported to be on the sick list. Sis. Bett, L.D., with the assistance of Bro. Trevethick "'and Sis. Cullum, installed the following officers for $he present term I:—C.T., Bro A. Dorrian; V.T., Sis.M'Konzie; P.C.T., Sis. Roberts; M., Bro. D. Brett; G., Sis. Hennoker, jr; S., Sis. Dorrian; treas.. Bro. D/Wyse; F.S., Bro. J Cannon. The following oommittees were appointed: — Finance Committee, Sis. Bett, and Bros. Bett and Price; Harmony Committee, Sisters Roberts, M'Kenzie, Dorrian, 'Henneker, and Betfc, and Bros. Price, Wyse, and the C.T. The, officers were appointed a committee to visit <the sioi.
Last week's meeting of the Rising Star Juvenile Temp,lo. 1.0. G.T., was well-at-tended in spite of the boisterous weather. Two candidates accepted tho pledge, and wore duly initiated. The installation of oflioers was conducted by Bro. :Trevethick, assisted by Sis. 1.. Dorrianand I. Henneker. Bro. Geo. Prico agreed to give the children a lecture on liquor at some future meeting. ' Tho Temple has commenced the new quarter with 116 members, 18 candidates having been initiated during the past quarter.
