"CHU CHIN CHOW."
Large audiences continue to testify to the wonderful popularity of "Cha Chin Cho>v." Two perfoVmances on Saturday were well attended. In the afternoon the part of Ali Baba was capably taken by Mr. Workman's understudy, Mr.. William Liddlc. In the evening there was the same evidence of warm appreciation that has been shown by other audiences. Miss Helen Temple, as the beautiful slave, proved an especial favourite. ' The wonderful lighting and colour effects continue to be much admired. The slave market, the Eastern bazaar, the oasis, and other settings, each in- itself a masterpiece, leave a lasting impression on the memory. The play will be presented on four more occasions in Wellington, /including a matinee on Wednesday.
