Following is the result of the principal race at the V.A.T.C. Meeting yesterday :—
Australian Hurdles, of 2000 soys ; three miles and a half, less 92 yards'.—Rosiel, 9.0 (Dalley), 1; Sandule, .11.3 (Thompson), 2; Front Rank, 9.0 (Burn), 3. Eleven started. Rosiel took charge at the half-mile, and had six lengths' lead when approaching the home turn. He led by three lengths into the straight, and won by four lengths. Time,, 6min
