FARMERS AND BUTTER SUBSIDY

DARGAVILLE, This Day.
At the annual me-ting of the Northern Wairoa Dairy Company on Saturday there were 500 farmers present. The following motion was carried unanimously: "That this meeting emphatically protests against the Government not allowing the subsidy on butter consumed by the suppliers and their employees, although allowing a subsidy on what the public consume."
