GAMES POSTPONED
The bad weather was responsible for the postponement of many sports fixtures for this afternoon. In the Rugby competitions no lower grade matches, except the junior trial game,, were played. Association matches on city reserves, except Lyall Bay, were declared off, and the ladies' hockey curtain-raiser at the Basin Reserve was postponed.
