The Department of Labour has issued statistics dealing with sixty-five industrial centre?, showing that unemiployment has increased more than 1 per cent, over June, and more than 7 per cent, since February. Harvest time had improved the conditions in some localities, and textile and railway work waa also better, but the metal-working trades have suffered tremendously. ■
