LONDON, sth August. Owing to rain,' the match between the Australian cricketers and Lancashire had to be abandoned. Australia declared the first, innings, closed with five wickets down for 317. Lancashire scored 100 in the first innings, and had lost two wickets for 31 in the second. The Australian bowlers' analysis for tho second innings is—M'Donald, two wickets for 16 runs; Macartney, none for 9; Armstrong, none for 3.
