DUNEDIN WOOL SALE

BERING SOMEWHAT ERRATIC.

(BI TKEGRAPn.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.)

• DUNEDIN, sth August. The fourth of the Dunedin series of wool sales was held to-day, -when over 10,000 bales were! submitted. Bidding was somewhat erratic. There was a full bench of buyers, representing all sections of the trade, and every buyer was prepared to operate' on reduced limits. Certain pfees of wool were in demand, more particularly halfbreds for the Continental spinners, and the better class of crossbred hogget wools intended for Bradford and America, iiight-conditioned 'pieces, free from seeds, in both halfbreds and crossbred*, were also wanted, and realised' prices whicK compared more than favourably with the fleece wools of the same descriptions and counts.

The salo will conclude about'midnight. Following is the range of values, also the prices .ruling at the June sales:—
