LODGE MEETINGS
Coronation Lodge, U.A.0.D., held its fortnightly meeting in St. Thomas's Hall, Newtown, on Tuesday night. P.D.P. Bro. F. Potter occupied tho chair, assisted by V.A. Bro. Bennett. The meeting was well attended. The visitors present were D.P. Bro. V. Christophson, P.D.P., Bro. Craig (of the Buller Lodge), and officers of the Melrose, Pacific, Excelsior, and Hand Bay Lodges. Seven new members were initiated. The sick bards reported two brothers on the sick-list. Bro. Rees, I.Cr. was installed in office by the District President. After business had been dealt with the members engaged in a card tourney, which was followed by supper, a good evening being spent. The Royal Arch Chapter held its monthly meeting on Wednesday night at tho Town Hall. P.R;A.D. Bro. Mollison occupied tho chair. He was assisted by V.R.D. Bro. Fisher. The meeting was a record one. Several past officers received their degrees. It was reported that the chapter was doing a good work" for the Druids in Wellington. This was well appreciated by the lodges. Disoussions (jook place which were of great interest to members present. The chapter's new set of collars is in the hands of Treasurer Bro. Crombie and M. Sec. Bro. Mullins. After business, tho chapter entered into harmony.
