WATERSIDE WORKERS' BAND.
By hard practice and determination to achieve success, the Waterside Workers' Band has won its way to a high place in the esteem of citizens who appreciate well-played music. The band has proved itself worthy of a place among the leading combinations of the Dominion. Its Sunday night recitals have been warmly appreciated by large numbers of citizens. Careful preparations have been made to maintain the band's reputation at the recital in the Grand Opera House tomorrow night. Much interest attaches to this concert, owing to the engagement of several leading artists from the " Ohu Chin Chow " Company (by kind permission of J. C. Williamson,. Ltd.), including Miss Maggie Moore, ' Miss Pearl Ladd (soprano), Mr. Frank Wignall (baritone, and the cobbler of' "Chu Chin Chow "), Mr. George Graystone (operatic basso), who will feature the choicest numbers from his extensive repertoire. Miss Josie Donovan will act as accompanist. The band items will include "La Couronne Dor," concert- valso " Bachanale,' 1 grand selection " Rem. of Weber," and the brilliant march "On Tour."
