NEW ZEALAND TEAM
FOBD REPLACES ALGAR.
B. Algar (Wellington) hag notified the New Zealand selectors of his inability to make the trip to Dunedin in connection with the first Test match next Saturday. The vacancy among the emergencies will be filled by Ford (Canterbury). Following Canterbury's defeat of the Springboks, Ford went on tour with the Southern rep. team, and he is being advised through the Canterbury Union ta proceed to Dunedin.
With the exception of Kingston (fullback), all other North Island members of the team proceeded South last evening. Kingston has been delayed in the back-blocks in Taranaki, and is expected to join the team early .next week.
