THE KING'S THEATRE.
Sir Arthur Wing Pinero's stage success, "Mid-Channel," will be the feature at the King's Theatre this week. This play is stated to be remarkable on account of its extraordinary insight into the foibles of human nature, and the picture is remarkable because of the appealing portrayal given by Clara Kimball Young as Zoe Blundell. Ab Zoe, the disappointed wife, who comes to believe she has been cheated out of. love and happiness, Young is to have achieved a striking success. She is ably supported by J. Frank Glendon, as Theodore Blundell, the thoughtless husband. "Mid-Channel" is stated to bo beautifully mounted and dressed.. This week's artist is Mr. Leigh Dew>, who is well known to Wellington audiences. The King's Grand Orchestra will also contribute towards the programme.
