■The.ladies are ti> be congratulated on Wie good showing they made in their Match. Mrs. Collinison's return at MaiiaWatu of T2 ; below .par is quite a feat. All the others who .returned below par are to be congratulated, especially Miss Gambrill; with the 'lc-w haaHfcap of 5, returning 2 below 'pa*, at MiramaT. Mtrairiar. The medal handica.p played 'on Saturday last was^von by A. B. Sievwright, with a net score of 83—a very fair return considering the weather. Johnsonvdile. The handicap bogey comipetition was won by F. Morton with one down. Mr. Morton is do-ing well ac a first-yea.r's player, as hd won in the stroke competiition the previous week.
