WOMEN FOOTBALLERS
Sar, —The Bishop is right; Christianity is fast departing from tho State and from the home. In another generation. or two it will be looked for, but will not be found. We have a fresh example of it in the young women footballers proposing-' to take the Lord's Day for practice. A year or two ago this would not have been thought of by women. It is to be hoped that they will think better of it yet. Let them take the advice of an old man, and steer free from the desecration of the Lord's Day, attend God's House, practice self-denial for their own sake and that of the rising generation. Then, I hope, they will enJoy their game, though, without modification, I do nob think it is quite the thing for them.—l am, etc., ■ - SJSNEX. 15th Juljr.
