MINERS' FEDERATION
FINAL RESULTS OF ELECTIONS.
Further details of the balloting for the various official positions in the New Zealand ; Miners' Federation are now available. Mr. B. Davidson, of Millerton, was elected president with. 1525 votes against the 1472 votes polled for Mr. P. O'Rourke; the past president, Mr. J. Arbuckle was returned as secretary and treasurer with 1784 votes against Mr W. Balderetone's total of 1193. Mr. J. M'Brido, was reelected vice-president with 1539 votes, Mr. V. Curran securing- 710 vote 3 and Mr E. Dyo .568 votes. _ New returns to-day include tho election^ of Mr. W. Wyld as executive member for tho Grejr Ditftriofc, and that of Mr. H. Smith to a similar position for tho. Northern District.
