BREACHES OF BYLAWS
Additional bylaw cases were dealt with in ths Magistrate's Court yesterday afternoon by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., ac follow: — A fine of 10« and costs was imposed on George Hainee, who failed to show a light on a, motor-oar. William Johns, who rode his motorcycle on th© wrong side of CourteDayplaoe, was fined 10s and costs. For obstructing an inspector of nuisances in the execution of his duties. Edith Kennedy was fined 5s and costs. The City Solicitor (Mr. •J. O'Shea) said that the inspector Pftid a visit to tho defendant's house, and was refused admittance in a" very definite manner. The excuse of the defendant was that there was a sick man in tho house.
Edward Shrimpton, for speeding across the intersection at Courtena,y-plao6, was fined"£l and costs.
