A BETTER WORLD.
Once, it is said, an optimist and a pee. simist foregathered, and began to digcues the question of the present condition* of life. The pessimist who waa, as most pessimists are, something of a oynio and egotist, brought, as he thought, the argument to a triumphant conclusion by paying: — "Well. I believe I could have made a better v/orld than this myself."
"Exactly," replied the optimist, "that is what wo are here for. Now, let ue go out end do .it."
