PUBLIC NOTICE-is hereby giVen that the Upper Hutt Town Board, by virtue of the provisions of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913," proposes to raise a Special Loan. (a) The purpose for which the Loan is required is to instal Coal Gas Works at Upper Hutt. (b) The sum proposed to be borrowed is £15,000. (c) The proposed security for the Loan is a Special Rate to be levied over the whole of the rateable property in the Town T>istrict of. Upper Hutt on the basis'of the unimproved value, sufficient to provide interest on the Loan and a Sinking Fund of 1 per cent, per annum for the period' of the Loan until same is paid off.
