ISLAND BAT AUTUMN SHOW
The autumn show of the Island Bay Cottage Garden Society will be held on the 30th inst., at St. Hilda's Hall. Thero will bo classes for vegetables, home dtot ducts, hand; fancy work, etc., but no doubt the chrysanthemums will be the main feature of interest, An open ciss has been instituted in this section, which will afford enthusiasts from other societies an opportunity of competing on oven Ifermsj. Mr. Westbury, of Taita, wfll make an oxtensive display of blooms, a,nd Braund's Elite Orchestra will render a musical programme throughout the afternoon and evening.
