PALMERSTON N., This Day. A meeting of tho Manawatu A. and P. Association carried a motion favouring the inauguration of a shipping lino for tho benefit of producers and exporters. It was decided to ask Sir Thomas Mackenzie to represent the association at a conference of representatives of agricultural ,and pastoral institutions throughout the Empire to bo held in London during tho summer.
