It is linden-stood that Mr. John Storey (Premier of New South Wales) proposes to request Mr. A. Ashbolt (Agent-Gen-eral for Tasmania) to take over the act-ing-Agent-Genera-ley for New South Wales during Sir Timothy Oogblams absence.

Owing to Mrs. Storey's slow recovery from tho after effects of a minor nasal operation a fortnight ago, Mr. Storey is cancelling his motor trip through England, and' is proceeding, to Barrow by train on Thursday.
