The Press Association supplies us with the following list of nominations for the municipal- elections in other places :— Auckland.—Mr. J. H. Gunson, the present Mayor of Auckland, has been again returned unopposed. There are SO nominations for seats on the City Council. Napier.—Messrs. J. V. Brown, M.P., . and J. B. Andrew, a retiring councillor, '■ (were nominated for the Mayoralty. There are 16 nominations for the Borough Council. Invercargill.—Mr. John Stead, the re- ■ tiring Mayor, and Councillor J. L. LilhV crap were .nominated for the Mayoralty. For 12 seats on the council there are 17 candidates. Gisbornc—For the Mayoralty, Messrs. ; George Wildish, the present Mayor, I. ; Mirfield, and G. C. Munns have been ■ nominated. There are also 17 nom- ' illations for nine seats on the Borough 'Council, cix nominations for four • seats on the Harbour Board, and ten, including a lady, for four seats on the Hospital Board. Waipukurau.—Mr. Ernest A. Goodiger ■ Ws re-elected Mayor unopposed. Dargaville.—Mr. R. E; Hornblow was ■ re-elected Mayor unopposed. There are > fourteen nominations for nine seats on ■ th 4 council.. , Now Plymouth.—Mr. F. E. Wilson was returned unopposed for the Mayoralty. ■ There are eleven nominations for the council, including three Labour candijda.tes. Eight are required. The Hospital and Harbour Board elections will , also be contested. Dargaville.—-Mr. R. E. Hornblow has , been re-elected Mayor of Dargaville unopposed. There are fourteen candidates for nine councillorships. Palmerston North.—Mr. J. A. Nash, • M.P., the present Mayor, and Councillor E. H. Crabb, were nominated for the Mayoralty. There were sixteen nominations for nine seats on the council. Only the required nominations were received on Saturday for the office of • Mayor and councillors for the borough of Carterton, so no election will be nee- ■' essary. Those nominated were: Mayor, Mr. W. Howard Booth; councillors, Messrs. A. Anderson, P. A. Cole, W. C. Delia, E. Eagle, W. Fisher, J. C. Harp, ' T. H. Hughes, J. Preddy, and H. M. B. Tropp. Messrs. L. H. Smart, E. M'Kenzie, and W C. Slater did not seek reelection.

Labour candidates will address meetings to-night at Northland Schoolroom, Kaiwarra Hall, and the Soldiers' Statue, Mitchelltown. To-morrow afternoon, at 2.30, all the Labour women candidates will address a meeting of women in the Trades Hall, Vivian-street.

Mr. R. A. Wright will address the electors in the Miramax Town Hall to-night at 8; o'clock.

Mr. H. Stockbridge was requested by a deputation to become a candidate for the City Council, but owing to business reasons he had to decline.

Through inadventure, the name of Mr. Edward Vine was omitted from the list of candidates for the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board yesterday.
